3D Art - WIPs 1 & 2

Hi,

Here are some better quality photos of the progress on my latest doodle. :-) I quite like how this is coming along, although it's not quite as good as it was in my head - mainly because the green background is my first real foray into watercolours and oh my, they are hard to use! I don't have the skill to get the desired effect unfortunately. But the colour is exactly what I wanted at least. :-)

I also made the stupid mistake of not checking BOTH my brown markers were water proof... turns out the one I used for the very fine detail isnt.... well done, Meg! *facepalm* Not sure how to get around that to paint the face as the eye, eyebrow and ear details are all drawn using the non waterproof pen... excellent haha.

I sketched something! :O I'm in shock haha. This will be a 3d piece that I hope will be good enough to put on my wall :) this isn't intended as a masterpiece... I'm just trying to get my hands to remember what it feels to draw and my mind what it feels to be creative! It's been too long. Far too long.
